Colonic Transit Time Study (with oral tracer dose of Ga-67 )

Indication

Investigation of chronic constipation.

Procedure

Abdominal scans (20min each) at 6,24,48,72 & 96 hrs post administration of tracer (Monday-to Friday).

Colonic Transit Time Study (1)

Delayed tracer transit, consistent with slow-transit constipation.
